Writing Home - a day workshop at the Royal Institute of British Architects

25th, Jun 2016

This one-day writing workshop is timed to coincide with an exhibition at the Royal Institute of British Architects on the British home. The exhibition will chart the relationship between house and home, architecture and emotion, and the evolution of different kinds of homes in Britain, from the terraced house to the Council flat. In this Saturday workshop we will use writing exercises to imaginatively investigate our relationship with our homes, with architecture and the city. Through guided writing prompts and group feedback we will sharpen our knowledge of writing techniques through a consideration of the relationship between heart and home. Fee: £35/£2 concessions)
