H is for Hawk - an interview with Helen MacDonald at the UEA literary festival

25th, Feb 2015

On Wednesday February 25th, as part of the University of East Anglia spring literary festival I will interview acclaimed author Helen MacDonald, whose memoir H is for Hawk won both the 2014 Samuel Johnson Prize and the Costa Book awards. Helen's book is an elegant and heartfelt exploration of grief, falconry, and ultimately life. It recounts the story of the death of her father, a history of falconry, and her relationship with a goshawk called Mabel. The event starts at 7pm in Lecture Theatre 1, University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk. See https://www.uea.ac.uk/litfest/home
