Guest spot on 'You Should Have Been There' travel podcast

Recently I joined Mick Webb and Simon Calder's travel podcast 'You Should Have Been There' as their guest for an episode on Psychogeography - what is it, where can you do it, and why would you want to? We discussed the literary origins of the notion that the very ground we walk on has its own consciousnes, psyche and intentions, and that we can pick these up and interpret them. In fact, the affinities we have with place might be explained by the fact that places definitely do have characters and energies. Where better to explore this than in the heart of Londinium, the Barbican, built atop the Roman enclave that London once was.
